Why We Opened Radiant STD Clinic
Sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) remain an important but often neglected public-health concern in Nepal. HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, genital herpes, HPV and genital warts affect people from different age groups and backgrounds. However, many patients still struggle to find a dedicated clinic where STD problems are evaluated confidentially and comprehensively.
We opened Radiant STD Clinic to address this gap. In Nepal, STD care is often scattered between general clinics, laboratories and hospitals, while dedicated STD services led by an MD Dermatologist & Venereologist are limited. Patients frequently want more than just a laboratory test—they expect confidential consultation, accurate diagnosis, appropriate testing, evidence-based treatment and clear advice about partner management and prevention.
What is often lacking is a specialized, stigma-free environment where patients can openly discuss sexual-health concerns without fear of judgment. At Radiant STD Clinic, our aim is to provide focused STD evaluation and treatment under specialist care, including appropriate testing for HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, HPV and other sexually transmitted infections.
Our goal is simple: better STD awareness, early diagnosis, proper treatment and confidential, respectful care for patients in Nepal.
Our Doctor
Dr. Kamal Raj Dhital
Dr. Kamal Raj Dhital , born in 1982 in Bharatpur, Chitwan, Nepal, an MD Dermatologist and Venereologist, with core interest in treatment of dermatological diseases, hair transplant surgery and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) treatment.
He completed his MD in Dermatology and Venereology from the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University, Nepal, one of Nepal’s premier medical institutions, in 2016.
To further develop his expertise, Dr. Dhital completed a Fellowship in Laser and Cutaneous Surgery in Thailand in 2018, followed by advanced aesthetic medicine training in South Korea and China in 2019. In 2024, he completed a Fellowship in Sexual Medicine from Pune, India, strengthening his expertise in sexual health and sexual disorders.
Dr. Dhital has a keen interest in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, dermatological disorders, sexually transmitted infections, sexual health problems, and sexual disorders. His approach emphasizes accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, patient education, privacy, and compassionate care.
Through his work at Radiant STD Clinic, he aims to provide specialized, confidential, and patient-centered care for individuals seeking help for sexually transmitted infections and sexual-health concerns.
